Lеur mаriаgе а еu liеu аu Domаinе dе Roquеfеuillе, à Trеts. Unе journéе еnsolеilléе, аvеc justе cе qu’il fаut dе chаlеur sаns еn fаirе trop. Dès lеs prépаrаtifs, l’аmbiаncе étаit à lа fois sеrеinе еt joyеusе.
As a wedding photographer, I meet many couples who are deeply in love, but with Audrey and Sylvain, it was truly obvious. They shared a genuine connection that all their guests could feel and commented on throughout the day.
Their wedding took place at Domaine de Roquefeuille, in Trets, Provence. It was a sunny day, with just the right amount of warmth without becoming too hot. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was both relaxed and joyful.
Audrey got ready with their little daughter, who was at that wonderful age when fairy tales still feel real. She wore an elegant, figure hugging wedding dress she had found at Ava Mariage in Marseille. Meanwhile, Sylvain was getting ready with his groomsmen in a quieter spot elsewhere on the estate, out of sight.
They saw each other for the first time during the outdoor humanist ceremony, held in the estate’s beautiful park. Yacine, the celebrant from A2MainsTenant, led the ceremony in his usual style, with his wonderfully offbeat sense of humour.
The couple had planned a little surprise: the wedding rings were hidden beneath the chair of Audrey’s godfather, who discovered on the spot that he would be the one handing them to the newlyweds. A carefully planned surprise, full of meaning. And above all, there were two heartfelt speeches, each incredibly sincere, that touched everyone present.
After the ceremony, we had set aside some time in the schedule for a few couple portraits around the estate, first with their little girl, then just the two of them. The sun was dropping quickly, so we slipped away to a nearby wheat field. Golden light, just a few minutes, and everything we needed to capture some romantic, natural images. As always, Kevin Clerc, my videographer partner, and I worked together seamlessly, giving each other space and allowing the moments to unfold naturally.
The atmosphere picked up another notch during the drinks reception, thanks to Franck from Must Animation. There from the very beginning, he managed to keep the energy going throughout the evening, with a great sense of timing and a few wonderfully wild moments that he knows exactly how to create.
The Nemobooth photobooth was absolutely swamped. Guests started using it during the drinks reception and didn’t stop until the brunch the following day. The audio guestbook phone was just as popular. Judging by all the smiles and laughter during the recordings, there will be some lovely messages to listen to again in the years to come.
The next day, everyone gathered around the pool for a relaxed, friendly brunch. A food truck, easygoing conversations, swimming, and a few more visits to the photobooth for some fun summer outfit portraits.
If you’re getting married at Domaine de Roquefeuille or anywhere else in Provence, and you’re looking for a wedding photographer who loves genuine moments, beautiful light and heartfelt stories, I’d be delighted to hear about your plans and chat with you about your wedding.
