Wedding photographer in Provence
I’m Renaud Delcuze, a documentary wedding photographer based in Marseille, in the South of France. Over the past fifteen years, I have photographed more than 200 weddings across Provence, from château receptions in the Var to country bastides near Aix-en-Provence. Couples rate my work 4.9 out of 5 on Google.

A natural, unobtrusive approach
I photograph your wedding the way it truly unfolds. No staged moments, no long posing sessions: a glance during the vows, laughter over the aperitif, a quiet word between a father and his daughter. I work like a reporter, close enough to feel the atmosphere, discreet enough to be forgotten.
My eye was shaped by the great humanist photographers, Robert Doisneau and Henri Cartier-Bresson among them. Before photography, I spent twenty years in 3D animation for cinema and television, where my craft was light itself: where it comes from, how it falls on a face, what it says about a scene. In Provence, where the light is everything, that training makes a real difference.

Your celebration, from welcome dinner to farewell brunch
A wedding in Provence often lasts more than a day. Your guests have travelled far, and the days around the ceremony matter as much as the ceremony itself. Every collection is tailored to your plans:
- the welcome dinner or rehearsal evening;
- getting ready, the ceremony, the reception and the party;
- the farewell brunch or pool party the next day;
- an engagement session in Provence before the wedding, among the lavender fields, in a hilltop village or by the sea;
- a second photographer, recommended for larger celebrations, so that both sides of the day are covered.
Planning from abroad, simply
- A first conversation. We meet by video call, whatever your time zone, to talk about your plans and the story you want to tell.
- Your investment guide. I send you a tailored proposal, and your date is secured with a deposit.
- Preparing the day. Closer to the wedding, we go through the timeline together, the key people, the family photos you would like, and the best time for golden-hour portraits. If you work with a wedding planner, I coordinate directly with them.
- The wedding day. I know Provençal venues and their light, and I stay out of the way.
- Your photographs. A first selection within 48 hours, then your full online gallery within one to two weeks: around 800 finished, hand-edited images in high resolution.
An heirloom album
Your photographs deserve more than a screen. I design each album by hand, page by page, as a narrative of your day. The Amalfi album is printed on Italian fine art paper from the master papermakers of Amalfi, with deckled edges, Japanese binding and a full-grain leather cover. I ship albums worldwide.
Where I photograph
Based in Marseille, I photograph weddings throughout Provence and the South of France: Aix-en-Provence, the Luberon, the Alpilles, Cassis and the Calanques, the Var and the French Riviera. I know many of the region’s venues, including Château de Robernier, Château de Sannes, Château de la Beaumetane, Château de Sénéguier and Bastide de Toursainte. Travel within the Bouches-du-Rhône is included; further afield, travel and accommodation are simply added to your proposal.

- English speaking. Your international clients can talk to me directly.
- Images for you. A selection of photographs within 48 hours of the wedding, which you and the venue are welcome to use for your own communication, with credit.
